Co-existence activities

The Copenhagen Lab of Co-existence took place the 5th and the 6th of September 2006 at the IT University in Copenhagen and marked the conclusion of a range of events and conferences, which have taken place since February 2006.

The conference gathered international organizations, institutions and key players with the intention of preparing and setting off The Co-existence Expedition. This happened through the identification and prioritization of the five major challenges, which exist to preserve and strengthen global co-existence, including the development of suggestions to solutions and initiatives to meet these global needs.

As a forerunner to The Copenhagen Lab of Co-existence, the initiative has headed a series of conferences and events with the common theme 'Framing Co-existence in the 21st Century'. Each conference has aimed at putting matters of co-existence and cultural diversity on the agenda within the following sectors: academia, the business sector, media and culture&arts. Moreover, the initiative 'Co-existence Youth' has in specifik aimed at involving the younger generations to have their suggestions for strengthening global co-existence.
